Some time at The Schatt's HQ
"Hey did you hear it?"
-- "Hear what?"
"That news! You seriously haven't heard about it? They're sending her!"
-- "That? Her? OOOOOOH! Now, I know! Just say it from the beginning, dammit."
"Eh, whatever. Anyway... really, her?"
-- "What's the matter with her?"
"Seriously? Don't you think she's... you know, rather weird?"
-- "Well, if you put it that way, I guess she's kind of. But it doesn't really matter, right?"
"True enough. I'm not sure she's capable of doing it though."
-- "You sure you still don't mad because she beat you in push-ups?"
"What?! NO! I just don't think she has enough experience to become one. And anyway, I gave it to her, you know. I didn't lose!"
-- "Whatever. Well, it's up to the upper guys to decide. And besides, I think the whole thing is to send someone inexperienced. She fits the bill."
"I wonder... she never been to the field even once!"
-- "I guess this would be a very valuable experience for her then."
"You seriously don't care, huh?"
-- "Well... Inquisitors come and go?"
"Fair point."
-- "By the way, have you heard that apparently, a tavern somewhere south ran out of ale?"
"What? How come---"
"Crutsch! Wilhelm! Get back here or I'll make you do another twenty!"
"Sir, yes, sir!" "Sir, yes, sir!"

{Hilda Zimmern Official The Schatt Profile}
Full Name: Hilda Zimmern
Sex: Female
Known D.O.B: [Sometime] in 2nd Week of Duolius, 1423
Place of Birth: Finstern
Race: Human
Lineage: Angevin
Height: 175 cm (updated)
Official Status: Refugee of Finstern
Parents: Unknown - Deceased
Classified Position: Independent Inquisitor of The Schatt
Classified Assessment:
"As a refugee from a village ravaged by Horrors, it's quite a miracle that Hilda Zimmern managed to escape with barely a scratch. According to witnesses, it was because the protection of her parents - who fell victims to the Horrors. Born as an Angevin, we noted that Hilda Zimmern seems to have a good natural strength with decent constitution on her body. However, we also noted the lack of flexibility and finesse in her body, nonetheless we believe this won't pose her no particular harm in the battle. Her physical abilities are easy to measure; her mental abilities, on the other hand, are a bit harder to measure. As a direct victim of Horrors attack, it's quite miracle that Hilda Zimmern can still hold herself together. This might be because of the protection given by her late parents, as we mentioned earlier.
Hilda Zimmern's past history is remarkable and not-so-special at the same time. According to her story, her parents were just commoners, tending their small field and living their life together at Finstern, a village somewhere in the Misty Forest. Her daily life, as she put it, was just consisting of helping her parents in the field. It wasn't until one day when Horrors appeared on her village, that her life would also changed for good. She claimed that she did not have a clear memory about what happened on that ill-fated day, but she knew the Horrors caused her village demise. She mentioned how her fellow villagers just ran in panic, not even caring about others only to save their life, and her parents sacrificed themselves to allow her to escape. She ran away with some people from her village, and began to wander in the Misty Forest looking for a place to stay. The lack of preparation, however, appeared to be very costly. It was not long until only a couple of them survived, including Hilda Zimmern herself, when they stumbled upon our small city. Based on their stories and our short investigation, we estimated that they were in the wilderness for around 3-4 months, perhaps even longer.
Hilda Zimmern approached us to become an Inquisitor, a few months after she arrived as a refugee. It was noted that she was 7 year-old at that time. Normally, we held reservations about recruiting someone that young of age, however considering her background and her history of surviving Horrors attack - makes her an attractive candidate even without considering her potential; not to mention her survival instinct that appeared to have been shaped during her ordeal of wandering around the Misty Forest. Life at The Schatt will not be easy for her, especially considering her status and her age, but we are willing to take our chance on her. We have no idea if she will become a capable Inquisitor in the future, but as the saying goes: Inquisitors come and go."
