Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Paladins of Order of Golden Dawn, so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.
Walking silently among the citizens of Espoir are the Paladins.
They stand still when everyone else ran away from Horrors.
They seek to root out evil lurking beneath the shadows.
They strive to be the light that never dims.
The King and few select nobles are aware of their existence. There are only a handful of active Paladins. From time to time, one or more Paladins would catch a rumor about evils and horrors. Sometimes they return, sometimes they don't.
