Moon Village, La Luna Rossa - 14XXA blue-haired little girl looked at a halfling and a boy in front of him while gripping a woman's hem of skirt.
"Well then...." said the halfling with his eyes looking at the woman and the little girl one by one.
"Can you please reconsider that, Uncle Furioso?" said the girl while tightening her grip.
"HAHAHAHA! As expected of me." said the halfling while making an akimbo pose, "You feel lonely without me around huh?"
The three human there looked at the halfling with weird looks.
"NOOOOOOO!" yelled the girl tearfully, "Sister Zita! I can't leave Luke in Uncle Furioso's hand! His idiocy will infect Luke!"
The halfling's eye twitched visibly.
"Ahahaha." the woman just smiles awkwardly while scratching his hair.
"Uncle Furioso, we've been accustomed with you not home." said the boy.
"Yeeeeees! What I will be worrying is about Luke!" added the girl.
"Even if that's the truth, you can at least lie to humor me y'know." said the halfling after sighing.
"BU BUUU! Remember the preaching. You must be honest!" the girl said making cross sign with his arm.
The halfling whistles, "Well that's true. Good job remembering that."
"Of course! I want to grow after all!" the girl said with triumphant kind of pose.
"Huh? What do you mean?" said the halfling while glancing to the woman who looked like averting her eyes.
"Sister Zita said that you usually are not honest, Uncle Furioso. That's why you don't grow in height! Isn't that so, Sister Zita?" said the girl tilting her head while looking at the woman.
The halfling smiled at Zita with his eyes twitched, "I see... So that's why..."
"L-Let's leave it at that, ahahaha." with her eyes busy glancing around at nothing, "Look! Josephine will be tired waiting for you two!"
"Yes, Uncle Furioso. Let's go. Waiting too long will make us harder to part." added Luke.
Amidst some silence for a while. The woman, like being whispered with some kind of life threat, she shivered suddenly. Making the girl looked at her in wonder.
"Y-yes, Sir Furioso." said the woman weakly.
The halfling cleared his throat, "Well then, we'll be going."
"See you later Sister Zita, Caelum." the boy bows slightly toward the girl and the woman.
The woman gave a light pat to the boy head, "Good luck in the journey."
The girl approach to the boy, giving him a hug. "Come back safely, okay!"
"Yes." said the boy nodding.
"Take care of this place while I'm away." said the halfling to the woman.
"Of course." said the woman, "Please take care too Sir Furioso."
"Ou." said the halfling with smirk.
The boy and the halfling then went to a place where a mule tied to a tree while waving their hand toward the other two.
"We'll come back with you as a good Inquisitor that can protect her, I promise." said the halfling smirking.
"Yes." said the boy in a resolved expression.
