SymphonyYou woke up in the darkness.Something shackled you. It feels as if either a grinding gears interlocking one another and forcing your movement, many writhing thorny and slimy tentacles, or a flaming chain reeking of sulfurs and hellfire. You attempted to break free from whatever binding you, but instead it forces you to move according to its whim. You tried to call out to the dark void spreading towards any direction. But not even an echo can be heard answering your plea. Then you heard some sounds. Approaching sounds. Then you see people. Many people. Some you might know. Some you might not know. You tried to shout again, but something deep within your heart held you. Then you see the people, all are moving according to the whatever frame they have, just like you are being moved by your binding frame. Then a loud crack, or a loud hiss, or a loud clank, echoed. You broke free, and instinctively took a step away towards the dark void. Then a few step away, one step at a time. One step at a time, until you realized that you are not breathing. And now you realize, there are many others. You took a glimpse of them. They took a glimpse of you. You know some of them. You had some adventure with them. And behind all of you, are people you might have known after this whole year, still bound by whatever holding them back. Some are familiar, such as the unlikely pair whom have met some of you on a relatively routine basis; each of them seems to have only one good eye. Others are not so familiar, like the young knights resembling one another so much, yet separated so far, that might only have met with some of you for once or twice. Some are old people or unbearable vile; yet some are young and innocent child like figures or shorter adults. Some have obvious traits; yet others have obscure face, covered by armors or wrappings. Some looks honorable figures of high social status; yet others are despicable wenches or scums. Some are men of otherwise gallant figure, others are beautiful ladies of otherwise elegant figure; all are bound and broken. And then you see, much further this time, behind them all. The movement of their bindings, as if moved by some unknown power. Each seemed to be influenced by some seals. Root Seals covering places. Shackle Seals covering horrific items. Arcane Seals covering figures. Girdle Seals locking sacred tome. As if these certain seals, are the ones capable of moving the figures you knew, so painful that they started to move involuntarily, even harming others nearby them. You reflexively attempted to move to help them; to relieve them from pain, by confronting the separated Seals. But it was also then, you realized that those Seals, have a very faint line of shimmering crimson. A very thin red line, that made your heart filled with uneasy feeling. That your enemies might have something in common. That They Are (Not) Alone. And Their Eyes sweeps upon you all. Then abruptly you woke up, startled and sweating.
ResolveA whole year has passed.Your dream visited you some time ago, and the figures in your dreams-- are getting to become unforgettable. It is unsure, what the dream tried to say. It is unsure, what the dream tried to convey. It is unsure, what the dream prophecied. Nevertheless, you also realized one thing. That to finally unveil the one pulling the thin red line, you need to handle those Seals that bind the people you know. The shimmering Seals of place, of items, of books, of figures -- of anything. But deep inside, you also realize, you might need to make sacrifices. The sad thing is, it is possible that you cannot sacrifice yourselves.

Public RumorsKremen hamlet saw a thawing of the upstream of Rio Torcido during winter in an area which can be categorized as Frozen North. Fortunately, a group of adventurers passed by and helped in checking the source. Most adventurers seemed to have burnt wounds, and it seemed there were indeed Horrors nearby. Additionally, Norther Border Strike Team reported another Orcish skirmish incident near the hamlet around the same time.

Public RumorsA village on Frozen North starts having tradition of ringing a bell on the village hall everyday. Its residents also carry a small bell on their pockets, said to bring good luck and protect them from evil. Legends said that this started from the time where 5 strangers came and saved the village from horrors by ringing bells, scaring evil monsters away. Their leader was a beautiful woman with golden hair who loves kids. Her right hand man was a tall muscular man. His words are firm and his sword is sharp. Three other girls were their loyal aides. Some version of this legend said the three girls are maids, with one older, experienced maid and two other clumsy maids.
Inquisitor's NotesIndependent Inquisitors exorcised a fiendish horror who brought stirges swarm on Village Azur. Villagers reimbursed them with 90sp and foods.

Public RumorsPurplish fog was seen around Emerald Forest, simultaneously with sudden spike of bandits activities around Remnants. When the Knights of Orleans and Forest Rangers' hands were tied by dealing with bandits, some young Forest Rangers took initiative to investigate the purplish fog, assisted by a group of adventurers whose faces were quite familiar with the townsfolk. It was said the adventurers also rescued a group of knights led by Joan Arc, who were ambushed by bandits when they were dealing with Horrors.
Some people apparently believed this whole event was the greeting from the new bandit group who control the forest in Remnants now, and it was also speculated they might had the Horrors under their control.
Inquisitor's NotesHuntress Ruby Rose and Huntress Yelena Ange had taken care of purplish fog in Emerald Forest, with help from Independent Inquisitors under the name of Averyn Safyre, Elena, Leonovich, Rodenmark Livingstone, Sil, and Zaytsev. It was also reported that the Independents were intervened the ambushes made by bandits against a group of knights led by Joan Arc. The said bandits called themselves Alba Canini, who might or might not be related to Album Corvus, another group of bandits based in Remnants in the past. It was unknown yet whether these new group were merely using the purplish fogs and Horrors' manifestations for their ends, or they actually had the mist and Horrors under their control.

Major RumorsThe immigrant from Torgov in Kirinova creates another layer of socio-economical problem, in the top of traumatized villager from Boyar's attack. Fortunately, Salcie and Sangerovo, the leader of the villages, decides not to stay silent, and initiate the first step by extracting the so-called artefact from remnant of the House of Melbont.
Some see this moment as a time to wake up and joining the resistance, while the others are still unsure and waiting for more initiative to be taken, and ensure them that the Boyar is no longer to be feared!

Public RumorsGigantic birds of Horrors were seen to be causing troubles at Marche of Mila-ate. A group of adventurers was seen handling the problem at a hamlet near The City, on the day Baron Guiness passed away, executed in public by The Charming Pirate, causing a sort of chaos. Banners and flags were raised half-way on that day, and it is said the the Marques herself met the adventurers and invited them to a feast for their efforts.
Inquisitor's NotesIt is unfortunate for Wings of Caladrius to lost one of Inquisitor Prime, who is also one of the Barons supporting Marche of Mila-ate. Fortunately the Independents were around to handle the Horror problem nearby, as Griffin was not at her best condition that day. We also reported about the activity of The Charming Pirate, and are grateful for the initiatives of the Independents in investigating this peculiar figure. We also appreciate their discussion with Griffin; although we do not know to what extent was the discussions, Griffin's spirit is lifted.

Public RumorsFestival of the Rose held with no problem. Some people on the town Alba grows curious and speculated on who is the two blond girl that was seen dancing and performing with two other guy on the city street. Some speculated, they might be some fey coming from Misty Forest doing trickery and disguise in order to join the crowd. Nevertheless, it seems there are some people who hope for them to come again and catch a glimpse of them in Alba next time. And no other missing people reported after the 'feys' are performing.
Inquisitor's Notes{Report in Letter form}Dear those who may concern (oh gosh I sound so professional here),
The case is closed in Alba. Seems this time the Independents once again save the day. This time the one helping is Leon (this guy is smooth you know! I really hope Rose didn't spill anything about [Morrigna]), Zayt (he cooks not bad), JeanneJaune (Oh! You should see this guy when disguised!), and Ave (seems like she got a lotta fans out there, hmm hmm). Alhtough pardon, apparently our Kiddo was supposed to be able to help at that time, yet not helping. We will make sure to punish him as needed.
Oh, the [Talisman] is already safe and secured as well! Seems like this time is [Pride] (wonder what makes it crack that far?) I'll send it personally to Amelie's place for safekeeping it. And still no clear reason why the [Talisman] turns into Horrors again. (Really... Where is she when we need her for the thinking part)

Public RumorsAt the time when the local inquisition were busy with some Horrors, another Horror appeared in a village in La Luna Rossa. The Horror appeared in the shape of numerous rats, and bringing along another rats. Luckily, four brave men and women heard about this news. Namely Sil, Mical, Hilda, and one other man whose name was unfounded. They defeated the Horror. This whole incident cost a relatively small casualties, only 10 known dead persons were reported that day.

Regarding the village, there're some suspicions to the village some times before this incident. A certain person there, which house is the one we're quarantine at the moment, was said to be doing some kind of fiendish worshiping practice. Locals also said that the said person brought back a big sack of something that smells like rotten animal into his house couples of time. The said person was reported missing few days before this accident.

Public RumorsThe goblin forces have been pushed back from Fenix's territory with only few casualties on the defending side. It seems hiring foreign trainers yield some good result. According to witnesses, a small group of soldiers and adventurers strike the horde's flank. They say the adventurers were Brigitte, Averyn, Hilda and Zaytsev. According to rumors, the soldiers were Biggs and Wedge.
Inquisitor's NotesThe inquisitors raid the enemy outpost and found scrolls and scripture meant to start a hex/curse on an untainted granite tablet. The scripture read: Humilitas. Whoever behind the goblin horde and the curses is still at large. It seems the goblin horde and the undead menace has some sort of "rivalry" relation that is still unclear just yet. The Huntress was found, although she refused to return. In exchange, a missing Forest Ranger and a sickly girl who somewhat bear the House Poitou coat-of-arms were brought back to Orleans.

Major RumorsThe fake religion at a hamlet in Scoi Aedh Elle has been removed. The leader of the cult is eliminated but his body has never been seen. Many people commit suicide, there are at least 20 people died, and many injured. There are some signs of fight
{Inquisitor Notes}
Valerie Valerianovna has been found, and she joined order of whisperers later. Jean Adamov has been eliminated, the problems brewing over Scoi Aedh Elle, involving the vice of "Pride" and "Envy" is triggered by this man. Simone Beauvoir is one of his experiment. By romanticing other woman in front of her, Simone is being lured into vice of "Envy". This time he went straight claiming he is a god. Unfortunate people were lured as well, creating more troubles.
One other possible threat in the future will be Armin Adamov. However there are no signs of him until now.

Session 219: SacrificeRoom2, February 9, Night Area: Remnants of Sanus Start: 1438, Week 2 Trilius Set: 1438, Week 3 Trilius
Public RumorsEl Destripador returned! After the rumors about series of successful murders on nobles in Vale, the heartless murderer now eventually targeting Marche Corsini's family. Fortunately, a group of bodyguards hired by the Marche managed to not only revealing and preventing a murder plot of Young Lady Corsini in Crollalanza's Globe Theater, but also managed to capture the culprit who spread the terror into street of Vale once again. Now, the peace has returned to the city of Vale!
On a side note, there were rumors about missing person, who apparently were some actors and actresses from the Globe Theater. It appeared they were suspected to be related with the murder plot, as House Corsini's guards were putting bounty on them.
Inquisitor's NotesIndependent Inquisitors had answered the request for help to investigate the appearances of purplish fog in Nobles Section of Vale City. They did a solid job on deducting the possible source of those purplish smoke. Unfortunately, the source of purplish smoke were not fully taken care yet, and there were still loose ends with this case.
Nonetheless, the Independents managed to help a Huntress to take care of El Destripador rumors in Vale, which turned out to be impostors. Even though the mysteries had not been solved yet, a tragedy that might befallen in Crollalanza Globe Theater was completely averted.
